Payment and Insurance
In-Network Coverage
As a Headway provider, Dr. Alpert is in-network for Blue Cross Blue Shield and Aetna. Patients in these networks can use their insurance for medication management appointments with Dr. Alpert.
Out-of-Network Payment
All visits aside from medication management (as well as medication management visits for patients who do not have BCBS or Aetna) are paid for out-of-pocket. If needed, Dr. Alpert can provide you with an itemized receipt (or a "superbill") for the services provided, which you can submit to your insurance company.

If you would like to utilize your out-of-network insurance benefits, please confirm your benefits directly with your insurance provider and ensure that these visits are covered.
Billing
Fees are due upon completion of the visit. Payment can be made via cash, check, or credit card.

CHECK: Please make checks out to either Michael Alpert, MD or Michael Alpert, PLLC. Returned checks will be charged a $30 fee.

CREDIT CARD: At the completion of your first session, you will receive a text message from the app Ivy Pay. Please follow the prompts and enter your billing information.
